Gabbeh Rug Zollanvari Luribaft Pomegranate Tree 283 × 205 cm (HX-13251)

This Zollanvari Luribaft depicts a bountiful pomegranate tree on soft ivory. Wide-reaching branches carry numerous fruits in deep red, vermilion and orange, while green leaves and a brown trunk add natural accents to the bright, lively composition.

Generous open space keeps the bold motif airy and balanced, with the expansive beauty of a painting laid across the floor.

Zollanvari Luribaft

Zollanvari is one of the leading names associated with bringing Iranian Gabbeh rugs to an international audience.
Its Luribaft rugs are finely woven compared with standard Gabbeh, allowing more delicate and intricate designs.
The rug retains Gabbeh's rustic warmth while carefully rendering the movement of branches, leaf outlines and the varying colors of each pomegranate. Up close, several colors interwoven within each shape create shading and the rich variation of handwork.

A Bountiful Pomegranate Tree

The pomegranate has long been a familiar motif in Persian culture and carpet design. Its abundant fruit is associated with fertility, prosperity and vitality.

Here, the motif becomes a bold, full-sized tree laden with fruit, creating a strong and uplifting image. A border of pomegranates and winding vines echoes the central tree.

Warm, natural ivory forms the base, combined with wine red, vermilion, orange and deep green for a palette that is colorful yet composed.

The broad, light-colored field keeps this approximately 283 × 205 cm rug visually airy despite its generous size. It brightens a living room and works with wooden furniture, leather sofas and natural, Scandinavian or modern interiors.

Large enough to sit comfortably before a three-seat sofa, it is well suited as a living room's main rug. Approximately 10.5 mm thick, it combines visual appeal with the everyday warmth and resilience of wool.
