Payment methods and timing
Bank transfer and postal transfer: payment in advance; dispatch follows confirmation of payment.
Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express), Apple Pay and Google Pay: dispatch is arranged promptly after ordering.
Cash on delivery: pay in cash when the item arrives; a handling fee applies.
Dispatch timing
Normally within four business days after payment is confirmed. Furusato Nozei return gifts, made-to-order items and stock held outside our head-office warehouse may take longer. We also sell in our shop and at exhibitions, so an item may become unavailable. We will contact you if your ordered item is out of stock.
Incorrect, damaged or soiled items
Please check your item on arrival. If it differs from your order, is damaged or is soiled, we will arrange a prompt exchange at no charge. Please return the item to us.
Returns and exchanges
Returns and exchanges are accepted regardless of reason, subject to the conditions below. Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and return the item within seven days of contacting us. See our Refund Policy for details.
We cannot accept items damaged or soiled by the customer, items already used (including application of fabric sprays such as Febreze), or items sold as non-returnable. If a return reduces the remaining purchase total below JPY 10,000 including tax, shipping is deducted from the refund.
Payment deadline
If payment is not confirmed within seven days of the order date, we will cancel the order.
Cancellations
Please contact us promptly if you wish to cancel. If you cancel after dispatch, or the parcel is returned because you are unavailable or refuse delivery, you must pay the actual shipping costs involved.
Security
Our shopping cart is certified through a CrossTrust digital ID. Information entered and transmitted through the shopping cart is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption between your browser and the server.
Credit card details are transmitted directly to the payment processor’s server and are not retained by our store. The payment processor complies with payment-card industry security standards.
