About this piece
A darker brown border frames undyed natural ivory, enlivened by colorful animals in a simple, versatile design. Approximately 22-23 mm thick, it has a soft, comfortable wool texture.
Amaleh is a finer grade of Gabbeh, with a denser weave and carefully selected wool. The pile has a silky luster and a smooth, soft feel that gives the rug a particularly refined character.
