About this piece
Undyed gray and beige wool forms a finely varied field reminiscent of rocky mountains. Traditional floral motifs become abstract repeating forms, with richly changing green gradients lending the composition a modern character.
This finely knotted Luribaft has approximately 40–45 knots along each 10 cm, several times the density of a basic Gabbeh. Selected skilled weavers create a soft, low-shedding pile with a gently cushioned feel underfoot.
