About this piece
Two brick-red horses stand on soft pale beige, with burgundy, navy and orange accents. Their gentle expressions lend warmth to this individual traditional Gabbeh made for domestic use. Just over 18 mm thick, it has a soft, cushioned feel.
Finer yarn than in a basic Gabbeh creates a dense weave with a pleasantly resilient feel. Older pieces may show rubbing or an uneven shape as part of their character. We select examples in good condition and carry out cleaning both locally and at our store before sale.
