A 100% silk Persian rug hand-knotted in Qom, Iran, measuring 39 × 29 cm excluding fringe. Its Gonbad Riz dome design radiates from a small central rosette in concentric rings of teardrop-shaped compartments.
The light green field is outlined in deep green, with salmon-pink and golden-brown blossoms nestled inside each compartment. Cream accents pick out tiny petals and angular leaves, while repeating floral arches form a decorative border. The natural sheen of silk reveals subtle changes with the light and viewing direction.
