About this piece
Undyed pale cocoa and a dark brown border surround small Trees of Life and animals. The substantial fabric has a soft yet resilient feel. Just over 23 mm thick, the wool has a soft, lustrous feel with gentle cushioning.
Amaleh is a finer grade of Gabbeh, with a denser weave and carefully selected wool. The pile has a silky luster and a smooth, soft feel that gives the rug a particularly refined character.
