About this piece
A reddish-brown border frames soft beige, with a prominent floral vase, central roses and realistically drawn curtains. The all-silk pile catches the light differently with the viewing angle. Finely woven in Qom, it can serve as an elegant entryway or accent rug, or as textile wall art.
This fine Qom Persian rug has a silk warp and a wool pile richly accented with silk. Fine yarns and close knotting bring the design into focus. Its supple structure and carefully rendered detail make it a textile to appreciate as a work of art.
