A 100% silk Persian rug hand-knotted by the TAKHTE JAMSHID workshop in Qom, Iran. This 89 × 59 cm Qom silk rug features a finely detailed Goldani vase-and-flower design.
A vivid turquoise field sits beneath an ornate curved arch supported by slender columns. Pink, red and ivory blossoms rise from a central vase, with a pendant-like ornament above. Pale blue, purple and orange blossoms add further detail, while green leaves and tiny flowers decorate the beige-toned vase. Dense floral scrollwork surrounds the arch, while a deep purple border holds repeated floral bouquets in small arched panels.
The natural sheen of silk brings out the intricate weave and rich colors. An elegant accent for an entrance or a wall-hanging Persian rug display. Dimensions exclude fringe.
