A 100% silk Persian rug hand-knotted by the AHMADI workshop in Qom, Iran. Measuring 123 × 80 cm excluding fringe, it features bold gold-toned ornament on a black field.
Large curling leaves sweep around a circular medallion in a Baroque-inspired composition. Close-up details reveal fine leaf ribs, serrated tips and small rose-like flowers shaded from yellow to golden brown. Narrow geometric bands and botanical border motifs frame the flowing curves.
