A handwoven Gabbeh featuring a Tree of Life and animals on a soft ivory ground.
A large, colorful Tree of Life fills the center, surrounded by small animals and plant motifs. Inside the red border, blocks of blue, green, orange and yellow add bright accents to the rustic Gabbeh design.
Natural shades of ivory, beige and gray run through the field, giving even the open areas the rich variation of handweaving.
The Tree of Life is a traditional Gabbeh motif associated with growth, longevity and prosperity, while animal motifs reflect the creatures familiar to nomadic life. The simple, welcoming design is easy to combine with natural interiors.
