About this piece
Many subtly different reds overlap in delicate gradations. Pale red, dark burgundy and gray-beige bring flowering trees forward against the deep red field, creating a modern artistic composition.
Luribaft is a fine grade of Gabbeh, carefully made by skilled weavers. Compared with standard Gabbeh, its denser, more even weave gives clear definition to motifs. The wool is resilient yet supple, with a springy feel suited to everyday use. Precise weaving and sturdy construction help the rug retain its appearance over time. Luribaft combines the rustic warmth and strength of Gabbeh with a refined attention to detail, making it a lasting companion to many interiors. A fully made-to-order version of the same design can also be requested in a size and thickness suited to your room. Please contact us for details.
