How we care for our rugs
Rugs need careful storage and regular maintenance. Prolonged damp conditions, folding and insufficient ventilation can lead to mould, moth damage or deep creases.
We store our rugs flat on ventilated slatted platforms raised about 60 cm above the floor. Even rugs over 3 metres long are kept unfolded. We regularly air them in the shade, use moth protection and block direct sunlight with curtains to help preserve their condition.

Parking is available.
- By car: about 5 minutes from the Yawara Interchange on the Joban Expressway, towards Joso/Mitsukaido along Route 294. Yawara is next to the Kashiwa Interchange.
- By train: transfer from the Tsukuba Express at Moriya to the Joso Line, then walk about 10 minutes from Kokinu Station.
- We can collect you by car from Kokinu Station on request.
Turn left before the large car-shop sign and park in front of the warehouse.
Opening calendar and appointments
We are a small team, so please book by the day before your visit. Same-day appointments may not be available.
Please check the current appointment page and calendar for available times. Your visit is confirmed after we contact you. All times are Japan time; dates marked “予約不可” are unavailable.

Alongside telephone and email, LINE is an easy way to ask about rug selection, orders, delivery, returns and exchanges. Send photographs of your room and the product references you are considering, and we can help you compare colours, sizes and styles.
Our usual response hours are 10:00–17:00 Japan time, excluding closed days. Messages received outside these hours are generally answered from the next business day, although we may reply sooner when possible.
Getting useful advice
- Ask us about the rug’s appearance in person and whether it fits your preferences.
- Send photographs of your room.
- Describe your ideas and requirements in as much detail as possible.
- Use our advice as a guide, then choose the piece you love.
For example, we can check an exact measurement, compare two rugs, explain how a colour looks in person or help you coordinate a rug with your floor and furniture.
Returns and exchanges for a change of preference are subject to our return conditions. For international orders, please confirm return arrangements and costs before purchasing.
