Hello. The kilim has just arrived. Its calm, gentle colours are exactly as imagined. Before moving, I had actually placed your rug photograph over a picture of the room, so the result matches that preview. I knew the appeal of kilims from touching and walking on an older one at a friend's home, but wondered whether I would find the texture prickly. This silk kilim avoids that concern and seems easy to live with. As the website described, it reflects light beautifully. Although the colours are restrained, the clearly defined pattern brightens the room. I am very glad I chose it.

The attached photographs show the new kilim and the corner with the carpet we bought previously, where we plan to place a sofa. Someday I hope to own the silk carpet I have long admired, though I wonder when that will be! Thank you again.
