No.90

It arrived the day after payment, and I was impressed by the speed as well as the rug itself. The photographs showed blue and navy stripes, while in person the shades are navy and deep navy. That gives it a mellow, worn-indigo character that I like very much. The sheep, mountains and children are charmingly designed and stand out beautifully. I had planned it for the guest living room, but liked the colours so much that I placed it in the entrance lobby first.

This rug is especially enjoyable for its varied blue shading. Placed lengthways, the motifs can be viewed upright, making the most of both colour and design. Changing daylight should reveal different tones too.
