Happy New Year. The kilim arrived safely at the end of the year—thank you. I am completely captivated by it. My daughter, home for New Year, taught me how to attach photographs. Usually another sumak kilim is in the entrance, but I placed this one there for the picture. I am so fond of it that I cannot bring myself to use it there every day.

The size and appearance suit the entrance beautifully, though we understand it usually lives elsewhere. Changing a rug's position with the seasons or your mood can refresh a room.
