Another Beautiful Gabbeh Has Arrived / 2023-11-27

No.497

This is my second purchase. Once again, a beautiful Gabbeh has arrived. Thank you.

I remembered the manager saying last time, ‘We will air it in the sunshine on a fine day before sending it.’ I love that care for the rugs.

This time I chose a red rug. I love its lustre, fine weave and colours.

Choosing from so many was difficult, but comparing the colours, patterns and weaving on the reverse helped me find a lovely rug I really liked. Spending time on a Gabbeh feels wonderful in summer and winter and makes me happy.

The photograph shows the two rugs side by side in our entrance. We are very grateful.

The beautiful red and story-like design make this a memorable Gabbeh. It can be used in many places and would also make a lovely wall hanging. We hope you enjoy it. Thank you.
