No.481

I was looking for a Gabbeh for our north-facing entrance. Choosing without seeing it in person, and from so many options, was difficult, but I am glad I chose this one. It has brightened up our dark entrance!
Our cat is sensitive to changes in the house, so I wondered whether it would be wary. Instead, it lay down and relaxed as soon as we put the rug down. It reminded me how wonderful natural materials are.
Thank you for making it so easy to buy such a lovely rug.

Gabbeh rugs are made of wool, and we sometimes wonder whether pets recognise the animal fibre. They certainly seem popular with cats and dogs. Wool can absorb and release moisture, which may contribute to its comfortable feel.
