No.306

I am sending photographs and my thoughts on the Gabbeh you recently delivered. Its place is beside the window leading to our deck, where gentle sunlight makes it shine like a pearl. The freely placed touches of yellow and grey shading create a pleasing variation. Under evening lighting it changes to a yellowish beige and reveals another aspect of the pattern. The surface is smooth and the pile substantial, so it is comfortable to lie on. Thank you for always offering such lovely Gabbeh rugs. I hope to visit Iran someday and wish for people to live with kindness towards one another. I look forward to continuing to browse your website.

By a window, the weather and changing light throughout the day reveal different sides of even a simple Gabbeh. This is the same room we featured in No. 234. Thank you for returning to us.
