At first you felt the red was too dark, so we suggested turning the rug around. That seems to have brought out a brighter shade closer to what you imagined. It looks lovely with the sofa and furniture, and we are pleased this rug worked out well.

I wondered whether I had been too particular in wanting both my favourite colour and motifs, but now I am growing very fond of it. It is fascinating how much the colours change with the rug's direction and the light.
