No.112

I was looking for something to soften the cold floor by the window beside the playpen. Buying a small entrance Gabbeh in a shop first sparked my interest, but a larger one there was beyond my budget. Browsing online and reading customer comments led me to this green Gabbeh. Its beautiful shading makes it feel as though there is a lawn indoors, and sunlight brings out another colour again. The children and cat enjoy playing and relaxing on it. It feels wonderful. It was a significant purchase, so we will care for it. I debated a paler rug until the end, but green stands out beautifully against our light floor and feels more at home every day. Perhaps a larger beige one will be next!
