A Gabbeh Rug That the Cat Loved Straight Away

The Hasegawa family visited us today and chose a Persian rug and a Gabbeh. They kindly sent us these lovely photographs and comments.

As soon as they laid out the Gabbeh at home, their curious cat came over to sniff it, then lay down and made itself comfortable.

We laid out the Gabbeh straight away. Our cat came over, very curious, and started sniffing it. After a while, the cat began purring, lay down and relaxed for about 15 minutes. Our cat seems very pleased too—we are so glad we bought it.

The cat is adorable, and seeing it looking so relaxed and at ease on the Gabbeh made us smile too.

With the softness, thickness and warmth of natural wool, a Gabbeh can be a comfortable place for pets as well as people. One of its charms is how naturally it settles into daily life from the very first day.

Thank you very much for choosing this special rug. When you have moved, we would be delighted to help you choose Gabbeh or other rugs for the upstairs rooms too.
