A Busy Month for Rug Cleaning

This is a good season to have rugs cleaned, particularly if accumulated dirt has begun to concern you.

At Oriental Moon, we call our approach ‘a little extra care’: if we notice a mark, we try to improve it even when separate stain treatment has not been requested; if a small loose edge or damaged fringe catches our eye, we may attend to it as part of the cleaning. We find it hard to leave such details alone. We originally outsourced cleaning, but eventually brought the work in-house because we wanted to offer this more personal approach. One experience stayed with us…

We were told that the low-priced service covered washing only and that other details were not checked. Our view is that a professional washing by hand should notice vulnerable areas and adjust the treatment accordingly.
