Our own brand, Hoshinamai Gabbeh, has received flame-retardancy certification. We supply these rugs with a certification label on the back, supporting their use in homes and in settings such as hotels, schools and public facilities.

What Is Flame-Retardancy Certification?
Japan’s fire-safety rules require flame-retardant curtains, rugs and other specified furnishings in certain buildings, including designated public facilities, high-rise buildings and underground shopping areas. Such products carry a flame-retardancy label.
