Events and Exhibitions Six Reasons to Visit
1. Experience handwoven Gabbeh in person
Every handmade rug has an individual character, sometimes suggesting the personality of its weaver. Seeing and touching each piece offers a fuller sense of its appeal.
2. A wide-ranging selection
Around 300 selected rugs were displayed, from generous living-room and extra-large pieces to entrance mats and runners.
3. More than Gabbeh
The collection included fine Persian rugs, vintage pieces with decades of character, and kilims from different parts of Iran.
4. Specialist advice
Our Iranian-born owner and manager, drawing on 24 years of experience with many thousands of rugs, offered advice based on practical knowledge.
5. Enjoy a varied collection
We presented Gabbeh woven with individual creativity, with a wide choice of weaving styles and designs for visitors to explore.
6. A convenient visit
The announcement highlighted the easy-to-find venue and parking. Family and friends were welcome to visit together.
From the Manager
After more than twenty years in business, our online membership had grown to around 6,000 at the time of this announcement. I remember many of the rugs we have sold and love seeing photographs of them in customers' homes. I also enjoy meeting online customers in person, beyond the names we see in messages.
