This refined Persian rug was created by the distinguished Nouri Workshop of Qum, Iran, using 100% pure silk. The most distinctive quality of this piece is its soft and sophisticated color palette. A pale pistachio-green field is enriched with coral pink, apricot, turquoise, and deep red accents, creating a composition that is highly decorative yet remarkably elegant. An ornate central medallion anchors the design, surrounded by flowing vines and a wide variety of floral motifs. Although the surface is densely patterned, the careful balance of spacing and color prevents the rug from appearing overly heavy. The vivid turquoise main border provides a strong visual frame, adding definition and contrast to the lighter central field. On close inspection, the petals, leaves, and scrolling forms are rendered with impressive precision. The transitions between colors are subtle and controlled, demonstrating a high level of weaving discipline. The natural luster of silk also causes the pale green field to shift in appearance, sometimes revealing ivory or soft golden tones depending on the light and viewing angle.
